The original is still available and was recently on display at The Annual Exhibition of Leicester Society of Artists at New Walk Museum and Gallery, Leicester. This large piece was chosen by Dr Gerard Moran, Dean of the Faculty of Art & Design, De Montfort University, to receive the George Pickard Prize for most modern and innovative work of art. Dr Moran said "Witty in its execution. Joy in the harlequin-like treatment of some of it's elements; it is almost a tale in an image"

Mikki Longley's bold and colourful pieces have attracted quite a following in recent years. Dynamic movement and animation of English Rural scenes together with an eye for idiosyncratic detail, pattern and texture come together to create a very personal view of the world.
